Alisha is currently the Robert M. Cover-Allard K. Lowenstein Fellow at Yale Law School, where she teaches in the Lowenstein International Human Rights Clinic. Before returning to Yale, Alisha worked as a human rights consultant and was a Legal Adviser in the Africa Program at the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR), based in Nairobi, Kenya. At CRR, she focused on using the law to improve reproductive health services in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania. Alisha first joined CRR as a Robert L. Bernstein International Human Rights Fellow after graduating from Yale Law School in 2008. In law school, she focused on international human rights law and women’s rights.
