Heather Fosburgh

Heather manages the on-campus programming for the World Fellows and oversees alumni engagement and outreach.  Heather’s background is in international development and public health with technical experience in governance, financial management and health system strengthening. Heather’s interest in global work started with her service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic.  Since then, she has worked in local government, international grant-making and compliance and most recently, as a Program Manager for the Yale Global Health Leadership Institute.  Her portfolio included leadership and governance training in Southeast Asia, Ethiopia and Africa, monitoring and evaluation, and public health research with U.S. hospitals.  She has worked in countries throughout the world including Bangladesh, South Africa, Cambodia, India, Mexico and many others.  Heather’s educational experience includes a MPH from Yale University, an MS in Political Science from Illinois State University and a BA from Purdue University.
