Miriam R. Estrin is Policy Director in the Office of the Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL at the U.S. Department of State. She previously worked at the U.S. Department of State for the Special Envoy for Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations and the President’s Special Envoy to Sudan, and at the Brookings Institution in Foreign Policy Studies. At Yale Law School, she spent time at the White House National Security Council, the White House Counsel’s Office, and the State Department’s Office of the Legal Adviser. She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and Yale Law School.
