Siobhan is currently Head of Research and Public Policy at the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE). Her areas of expertise include capital market development and sustainability. She has written on this topic for - amongst others - the UNEP FI Inquiry into the Design of a Sustainable Financial System. Prior to joining the WFE, she led efforts to strategically position the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in the fast-changing landscape of global markets, including forging alliances with other African exchanges and working with national regulators. She also developed and implemented the JSE’s Africa strategy and represented the JSE at the World Federation of Exchanges, in addition to developing policy recommendations to the South African government in such areas as exchange controls and financial market regulation. Siobhan was previously a manager for the global consulting firm Accenture.
