After serving for 23 years in the Royal Bahamas Police Force as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Marvin joined the Caribbean’s newest and most anticipated resort, Baha Mar Ltd, in June 2011. In this executive role, Dames contributes to the overall development of the company, having responsibility for providing advice and direction on Baha Mar’s security-related needs during all phases of the project from design to operations. The project slated for the island of New Providence, Bahamas represents the largest single-phase hospitality investment in the Caribbean. It is scheduled to open in late 2014 at an estimated cost of $3.4 billion.
