As a co-founder, anchor, and director of China’s first international television channel, Chenggang aims to restore and promote a balanced global image of Chinese society. He currently produces and anchors the daily prime-time business shows, Global Connection and Economic New List, on CCTV Business Channel. As CCTV’s only bilingual business anchor, Chenggang has interviewed many of the world’s top politicians, business leaders and economists. In 2006, Chenggang was named by the World Economic Forum as one of the 100 Most Influential Media Leaders of the World. Chenggang is the author of the best-seller Life Begins At Thirty. He is a visiting professor at the School of TV & Journalism at the China Central Academy of Drama.
