She previously worked at the U.S. Department of State as Policy Director in the Office of the Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL, as a policy advisor in the Office of the Special Envoy for Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations, and as special assistant to the President's Special Envoy to Sudan; and at the Brookings Institution in Foreign Policy Studies.
